It took over two years, but Miramichi:River of Character, with text by Joanne Cadogan and a forward that captures the spirit of the river by David Adams Richards, is out. The entire team which includes MC2 Marketing in Miramichi and Goose Lane Editions in Fredericton, worked hard to honour those people who let us into their lives and gave us all a glimpse as to why life on the Miramichi is so special. A special nod to Terry Power for keeping it all going (and for getting it started). It wouldn’t have happened without him or Theodore, Matilda, Billy, Bernie, Bob… and all. Thanks to everyone.

Summer Covers

July 6th, 2009

These two photos were shot for the New Brunswick Government’s Tourism and Parks last year- covers for the visitor guides in French and English. Both shots required a mountain of teamwork to pull off: designers, planners, models, location scouts, forecasters, kayakers, kite boarders and the idea people at Tourism. In the end both images try to capture an essential part of the New Brunswick experience that would translate well to people coming here from across Canada and around the world.

On the Road Again

July 6th, 2009

Just a funny thing with memory, but this shot was to be done at the Red Barn. And yep, everyone knew what that meant. When we got there, all three of us started to laugh. The barn had long ago faded from red, but in our memories it was still freshly painted. Funny how the mind works.
